What are your favorite things about your career? Connecting with people and making a difference in their lives. I enjoy learning new skills and gaining knowledge to help my patients. I enjoy working with patients to help improve their conditions, and also educating others, both my patients and our staff! Here's why I chose optometry.

Tell me a bit about yourself. I grew up in Jerome, ID and learned how to work hard from my dad, who still is one of the hardest workers I know. I have a BS in Biology from Utah Valley University. After college I moved my family to Memphis, TN to attend Southern College of Optometry. I was awarded a Leadership Scholarship each year I attended, and graduated with my doctorate degree in 2011.

I am active in the American Optometric Association, the Optometric Physicians of Washington, and the Tri-Cities Optometric Society. I am also a proud provider of the InfantSEE program, which offers free eye exams for children up through one year of age.

I've been married for 17 years and have four awesome kids. My family has lived in Eastern Washington for over 7 years. I love running, board/card game nights, listening to audio books, and am learning how to play guitar.

What is your favorite thing about your job? I am very passionate about helping people see and feel better about themselves. I believe I have a unique opportunity to help others achieve their best vision with glasses and contacts, which directly impacts all other aspects of their life. I pride myself on taking the extra time and care to make our patients achieve their best possible vision.

Tell me a bit about yourself. I have lived in the Tri-Cities for 31 years. I'm married with two kids and two dogs. I have 31 years of optical experience including both retail and at a lab. I am very involved in sports with my son-- especially baseball. I was a pitcher in college.

Apprentice Optician

What are your favorite things about your job? I enjoy helping others. Being in the healthcare industry has allowed me to help fill a need as well as a chance to make people feel good about themselves, and the way they look.

Tell me a bit about yourself. I was born and raised in Las Vegas and moved to the Tri-Cities in 2014, and love it! I have been in the optical field for ten years and am currently working towards obtaining my license as a Dispensing Optician. My current partner in crime is my 6 year old dachshund, Leonard Weasley. When I'm not at work I enjoy spontaneously running away into nature, hiking, car camping, and exploring!

Marketing, Tri-City Eyes Cheerleader

What is your favorite thing about your job? I enjoy learning new skills and challenging myself. Using social media and other networking tools/events to match patients with our office is something I'm learning how to do every day- and it's fun!

Tell me a bit about yourself. Many families in the Tri-Cities know me as Miss Jana, director of Music Together Tri-Cities, an early childhood education music and movement program for children 0 to 8 years old. I'm grateful that I get to know and sing with many families in our community each week. I have a BS from Brigham Young University in Child and Adolescent Development, and I love book clubs and stamps!
